TRANScend Retreat is different than any other retreat for transgender and genderqueer folks. Through extensive organizing and fundraising, our programs are available to anybody who needs them, no matter what their financial situation.
This dedication to accessibility sets us apart from most other organizations serving our community and has enabled us to engage folks who need these services most. Every event we create is focused on community-building and wellness for transgender and genderqueer folks, no matter what they can afford to pay.

TRANScend Retreat Videos
Our main event is an annual retreat that serves between 100 to 150 folks, scheduled full of leadership, culture and wellness workshops and activities. Held in Northern California each year, this retreat is only open to trans and genderqueer folks and, thanks to our extensive community outreach and scholarship efforts, more than ⅔ of its attendees identify as black, indigenous, or POC. This retreat attracts folks from all over the country and in 2019 we were able to offer travel and attendance scholarships to a dozen black trans women from the South and Midwest.
